City Hall Closed to Public; Municipal Court Postponed

The City of Holton will be closing City Hall and most facilities to the public as of Thursday, March 19, in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Closures will be in effect until April 6, 2020.

Utility payments can be made by including the top portion of your bill along with your payment in an envelope with your name and address written on the outside and dropping in our drop box on the north side of City Hall.

During this time, City Hall will also take your payment by card over the phone.

You can always go online to www.holtonkansas.org and click the Online Payments icon to make credit/debit or direct bank account debit payments.

Holton Municipal Court will postpone all court cases with a court date in March or April to May 21, 2020.  Please check your ticket to make sure it is a Holton Municipal Court ticket and not a Jackson County District Court ticket.  You can always call the Municipal Court Clerk at 785-364-2721 to verify your case is continued.

If you have questions about your utility bill that can be answered over the phone, please feel free to call us at 785-364-2721.  Following recommendations, the City of Holton will not be disconnecting any electricity for non-payment until after April 15.  We do ask if you cannot pay your bill, please contact staff at City Hall to set up a payment plan to get your account caught back up as soon as possible.

If you have questions about Park and Recreation activities, please call 785-364-9000.

Everyone, please wash your hands and stay safe!
