Economic Development

The City of Holton adopted an Economic Development Incentive Policy as a way to broaden and diversify the tax base, create new job opportunities for the citizens of Holton, and to promote the economic growth and welfare of the City of Holton.  Economic development incentives are necessary because of the inherent competition for new businesses and jobs.

The Holton Industrial Park currently has 4 lots available for purchase.  The park has completed a street and utility improvement project that replaced the roads with new concrete and extended sewer services.  Lot sizes available vary from just over 1/2 acre to nearly 4 acres.  Contact City Manager, Kerwin McKee, for more information.
